By registering for this event, you agree to the below terms:

I, individually, (and/or as parent, and/or guardian of the named minor) for and in consideration of acceptance of this entry in the aforementioned event, do hereby release, remise, waive, and forever discharge the Sponsor, and any and all other supporting groups of this said racing event, together with all of their officers, agents, officials, and employees from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or cause of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any injury, illness, loss, or damage, including death, relating to participation in the aforesaid event. I further state I am in proper physical condition to participate in this event.

Event Information and details

On February 16th, we will be hosting the very first Tuscaloosa Krispy Kreme Challenge. From the most avid runner/walker to the doughnut lover, this event will be a comical test of strength and endurance. We'll start on Bryant Drive at UOC and run/walk to the Krispy Kreme (1 mile), eat a dozen doughnuts, and then run/walk back to UOC. However, you do NOT have to attempt to eat the doughnuts to participate! If you want to compete for prizes, you will need to eat and finish one dozen doughnuts. If you only want to participate for the experience, you can eat one doughnut or zero doughnuts. It is your choice!
 
The registration cost is now $25. On the day of the event there will be limited spots available for $35, so sign up early!

There will be 2 categories:
1) Challenger - finishing 12 doughnuts is required, and
2) Casual - eat as many doughnuts as you want and then return to the start/finish line.

You don't have to declare your category until the "race" is underway. If you complete your dozen, you get a wristband certifying you ate all 12, and thus a "Challenger." If you return to the start/finish line without the wristband, you are in the "Casual" category.

This is a spectacle and intended to simply be good wholesome family fun. All ages are invited to attend!  No pets, please!
 
Even if you don't plan on attempting to eat one dozen doughnuts during the middle of our event, you can still participate in our event!
